In this video, the CVESD theatre teachers model some physical distance greetings students can use upon returning to school.
Gestures are body (arms, legs, head) movements that express something.
Voice is the sound or sounds uttered through the mouth of living creatures, especially of human beings (speaking, shouting, singing, etc.)
Watch the video of our district’s theatre teachers to the left giving you some ideas of ways to greet each other, using gestures and/or voice, while maintaining physical distance.
Challenge!! Can you think of any different ways you can greet others using gestures and/or voice, while staying 6 feet apart? Come up with your own greetings and record yourself doing 1 or more that you create, and turn them in to this Flipgrid challenge.
Flipgrid is the leading video discussion platform used by millions of PreK to PhD students, educators, and families around the world. Flipgrid brings the back row to the front and helps learners of all ages find their voices, share their voices, and respect the diverse voices of others.
